But…

1. I knew about the tab on the aluminum foil box but only because someone asked me to push in the tab.
2. I knew about the Greek yogurt, seem natch to me.
3. I would really wonder if the inventor of the pot holder had envisioned the hole as a spoon holder, too.
4. I heard about the cup lid… but I would hope you’d only do that if you were planning on finishing the drink. Putting the lid back on top after it’s been in contact with a table with who knows what on it…?
5. And same comment for using the foil as a spoon… Who knows what else has been on that lid! Yeck! In Japan, they provide plastic spoons for products like that.

Superman's not the only hero in town...

With all that is going on, especially politically in the US, sometimes it’s hard to find the positives going on in the world, but there are.

And heroes help make the world a better place. In this case, although not surprising to many on 43T, the hero is a dog.

Killian, a black lab and German shepherd mix, helped alert her owners that the babysitter was abusing their baby. Killian started acting aggressively toward the babysitter when the babysitter would arrive. The owners thought this was strange because Killian is normally a very personable dog. The owners decided to record what went on while they were away. They suspected that the babysitter was abusing the dog, but in fact, to their shock, they found out that the babysitter was abusing their baby!

The babysitter has pleaded guilty to assault and battery and faces one to three years in prison.

In another feel good story, a homeless man, Glen James, found a bag with over $40,000 and turned it in to the police. Obviously the owner of the bag was very relieved. As a result, someone has started an online fundraising program for James and has now raised over $45,000.

As James said, “Even if I were desperate for money, I would not have kept even a … penny of the money I found.”
